Let Every Dawn Herald New Beginnings

*This haven's moved to my Wordpress site. Minervan Fellows are kindly invited to drop by there.* My offerings are not for the temple at the end of the road, but for the wayside shrines that surprise me at every bend. ~ Rabi. Hark ye, dear Minervan Fellows & Guests:
Minerva brings sweet news of victory.

(with a beautiful theme so dear to mine heart)

Of darkness vanquished,
of draining Warstrides, traversing strange lands of perfunctory mundanities
- and conquering them.
Of rediscovered strategems of craft,
of just striding on - against the blinding storms,
and great Fellows battling alongside..

but with heavy losses too, of course:
Minerva's most loyal companion of these darkest times -
my Chief General (who's as old as my old varsity days),
dearest Mukti, has fallen

and Minerva herself came through a bad bout of fever in the final days.
Amusing, how the very work that drains one to the nerves
(and you realise that little needs like food and sleep aren't as essential to the human condition, as they are made out to be..)
can power one to the finish.
But, it's over now.

time to heal

Time to heal my fallen warriors, and for a brief while yet, a respite.
Take care all, Minerva*
